Please make plans to join us up on the hill for two free events on Thursday, June 29, 2023.
From 4:30-6:00 pm, we will host an open studio and discussion event for artist duo Evan and Stacey Smith. This is a fantastic opportunity for visitors to talk with Evan and Stacey about their professional practice and what it’s like to work alongside a spouse.
From 6:00-7:30 pm, current AIR Karri Dieken will conduct a hands-on screen printing event. This event is connected with a new project installation by Dieken titled “Mind Your Manners“. The new installation will represent the domestic space centered
around food, manners, and the table. Participants at this event will be invited to screen print an image onto a table napkin. Ice cream also becomes an artistic element and guests will have the opportunity to enjoy some themselves at this unique event.
Both events are free and open to all ages.
