All of us at Farwell House would like to say thank you for coming up the hill on Saturday to see the house and hear about our vision for the place we will soon call home. The response was far beyond our expectations. We conservatively estimate that we had over 200 folks come through our door. It was great to be able to put faces with names as well as listen to stories from folks that have known of the house for many, many years.

A big thank you to all of you that made a monetary donation to our organization.  We are extremely grateful. Your Farwell House window decals will be mailed out this week. And if you did not make a donation and would still like to do so please let us know. We are more than happy to accept your donation. Plus we accept materials donations as well. Oh the materials we are in need of. We had one gracious friend donate two loads of gravel for our driveway! If you are interested in knowing of our material needs please send us a message and we can fill you in.

Our new website is currently being built as we speak. One of the unique interactive features of the website will be “story share”.  We know many of you have memories of the house and we want to give you the opportunity to share those with us and everyone else.    All stories will be reviewed and moderated before being published to the site. Sharpen your pencils and stretch out those fingers and let us hear about your experiences with Farwell House.

We also had many of you ask about purchasing a t-shirt with our logo on it. We heard you! We are working on a way to take orders for shirts. We will post an update when they will be available.
