We are currently removing wallpaper from the first floor hallways in order to repair the walls and ceiling.  Our initial plan is to utilize this area as a gallery space to showcase the work of resident artists as well as our own small collection.

While removing the wallpaper we have come across little notes left by others.  This one reads,” E.S. Hodges – Nov 8, 1947 – Clear & Cold – first freeze last night.”   Just think, those words have not been visible for over 70 years. We also came across another very faint one located above the fireplace that reads “Dreamland Mansion.”  Looking forward to discovering more of these little gems.
